Come on inside and take a look at the Cedar Inn
Built around 1875, the inn was like many others around that time, founded to take care of the trade of steam boat day trippers from Edinburgh who could only buy alcohol on a Sunday if they were 'bona fide' travellers. Named The Star Inn (changed to Cedar Inn in 1971) it still has the original bar (Whisky Bar).
Full of caracter and offering friendly informal service that allows our visitors and guests to relax and enjoy their visit or stay.
Family run inn by Tim and Sam Stone, who are locals, will soon introduce you to the regulars, make you welcome and ensure you enjoy all that the Cedar has to offer.
